The organ music played softly through the grand hall as lily petals covered the white silk runner leading toward the altar.
Seven-year-old Lily walked down the center aisle wearing her small lace flower girl dress, holding a gray digital camcorder in her hands.
Groom: GET HER OUT!
The entire church gasped as Brandon pointed his finger toward the little girl, his face turning red with sudden anger.
Groom: Get that little girl out of my wedding right now!
Lily stopped in her tracks, clutching her small camera tightly against her dress as her mouth fell open in shock.
Bride: Brandon! What is wrong with you? She's my niece!
Groom: I don't care who she is! Put that camera away!
Bride: She's just seven years old! Why are you screaming at a child?
Groom: Security! Grab her camera right now!
Lily stepped backward in fear, dodging behind her aunt's long white lace bridal gown as a security guard stepped onto the aisle.
Lily: Aunt Sarah, please don't let him take it.
Bride: Nobody is touching her or that camera, Brandon.
Brandon lunged forward, his hands reaching past Sarah's shoulder to grab the small device from the girl's hands.
Groom: Give me that camera! She's lying!
Bride: Stop! Get your hands off her!
Lily looked up at Sarah with calm, steady eyes while holding the digital screen up toward her face.
Lily: The camera heard you, Brandon.
Bride: Lily, what do you mean? What did he say?
Groom: Don't listen to her, Sarah! She's making up stories!
Lily: Don't touch Aunt Sarah. He said he used you for your money.
Sarah froze, her breath catching in her chest as she dropped down on one knee in front of her little niece.
Bride: What did you record, Lily?
Lily raised her small thumb, pressing the center button on the side of the digital camcorder with a quiet click.
Recorded Voice: After the wedding, I'll take control of her trust fund and get rid of her.
The room went dead silent as Brandon's face turned completely white under the altar lights.
