Andrew: What did you just say, Toby? What song?
Toby: The night song... about the little blue bird on the river.
Evelyn: He's confused, Andrew! She probably just looked up a nursery rhyme on the internet to trick them!
Andrew: Shut up, Evelyn! Just shut up for one second!
Andrew took three fast steps across the marble floor and grabbed Sarah by her arm, pulling her up from her knees. The boys screamed and reached for her dress, but Evelyn quickly grabbed their arms and dragged them back.
Evelyn: Come away from her right now, boys! She's dangerous!
Leo: Let her go! Don't hurt Sarah!
Andrew: Look at me! Look at me right now!
Sarah slowly lifted her head, her brown eyes wet with tears, meeting Andrew's gaze. Andrew's breath hitched in his chest as he stared into her face, the bright chandelier light showing every detail of her soft features. His hand began to shake on her arm.
Andrew: Sarah...? No... no, that's impossible. Sarah died seven years ago in the hospital.
Sarah: I didn't die, Andrew. But you were told I did.
Evelyn: She's a liar! Andrew, call security right now! Have her thrown out off the property!
Andrew: Evelyn, step back! Sarah... how are you standing here? How are you alive?
Sarah: Ask your wife. Ask her how much money she paid the doctor to sign my death certificate while I was in a coma after giving birth to Leo.
Evelyn's face turned completely white. She let go of the boys, stepping back toward the grand staircase as her hands began to shake violently.
Evelyn: That's a ridiculous story! She's trying to steal our family fortune! She wants your money, Andrew!
Andrew: Is this true, Sarah? Tell me the truth right now!
Sarah: You were out of the country on that business trip in Europe. I went into early labor with Leo. Evelyn came to the clinic... she told me I was nothing but a poor waitress who would ruin your life and your family's corporate name.
Andrew: My mother and Evelyn told me you suffered complications during childbirth... they said neither you nor the baby made it, but then Evelyn said she found a surrogate baby—
Sarah: Leo was my baby! My biological son! And when I woke up from that coma two weeks later, the hospital staff told me my baby had died and that my family had paid my bill and sent me away.
Leo: Mommy? Are you my real mommy?
Leo stepped forward, his small hands wiping away his tears as he looked between Sarah and the panicked woman in the blue gown. Andrew dropped his grip on Sarah's arm, his eyes wide with horror as the pieces of a dark puzzle began falling into place.
Andrew: My God... what did my family do to you?
