Three months later, the sun shone brightly through the clean glass windows of the family home.
Sarah sat on the comfortable living room couch, holding little Emma, who was laughing happily and kicking her feet.

Sarah: Twelve years...
Mark: And the court ordered full restitution. Her uptown penthouse, her luxury cars, and her entire bank account have been seized by the state trustee.
Sarah: Does that mean father's trust fund is fully restored?
Mark: Every single penny. Two point four million dollars has been safely deposited back into Emma's college trust account.
Sarah: It feels like a massive weight has finally been lifted off our shoulders.

Sarah: Look at Emma, Mark. She's finally sleeping so peacefully.
Mark: She knows she's safe now. We all are.
Sarah: What are we going to do with the restored estate money?
Mark: First, we're going to secure Emma's entire future education and healthcare.
Sarah: And after that?
Mark: After that, I want to start a foundation in your name to help young mothers who are trapped in abusive family situations.
Sarah looked up at Mark, tears of joy filling her eyes.
Sarah: You would really do that?
Mark: You gave up so much to protect this family, Sarah. It's time the world sees how strong and amazing you really are.
