Julian: Please, Claire. We can fix this. We can go to counseling.
Claire: There is nothing to fix. My divorce lawyer has already filed the papers.
Julian: You can't just leave me with nothing!
Claire: I am leaving you with exactly what you brought into this marriage. Debt.
Julian: What about my mother? She has nowhere to go.
Claire: She can get a job. I hear the luxury car dealership is hiring.
Julian: This is incredibly cruel, Claire.
Claire: No, Julian. It is just business. You love business, remember?
Julian: I will fight you in court. I will claim half of your tech money as a marital asset.
Claire: Go ahead and try. But you signed a document when we got married.
Julian: What document? We didn't have a prenup.
Claire: We didn't need one. You signed over all your voting rights in Sterling Enterprises to me on our honeymoon.
Julian: You told me those were tax forms!
Claire: You should have read them. You gave me complete control of the holding company.
Julian: You planned this from the beginning.
Claire: I planned to save your company. I only planned to destroy you when you put your hands on me.
Julian: Claire, please. I am begging you.
Claire: The meeting is over, Julian. Security will escort you out of my building now.
Two large security guards stepped into the boardroom, standing behind Julian.
Security: Let's go, sir.
Julian: Don't touch me! I know the way out.
Julian turned around, his face pale and completely defeated. He walked slowly out of the glass doors.
Claire leaned back in her leather CEO chair and picked up her white smartphone.
Lawyer: Is he gone?
Claire: Yes, David. He is gone.
Lawyer: Shall I list the mansion for sale?
Claire: No. Keep it. I think I am going to remodel the grand hall. I never liked the marble floors anyway.
