Evelyn: Owner?! This is a lie! Julian, call the police!
Julian: Clara... is this real?
Clara: It's Ms. Sterling to you, Julian.
Attorney Hayes: Here are the legal documents, Mr. Vance. Your loan default notice expired at midnight.
Julian took the thick stack of papers from the lawyer, his hands shaking uncontrollably as he scanned the pages.
Julian: Mother... the mortgage was transferred to Sterling Logistics six months ago.
Evelyn: So what?! We can just pay off the balance!
Clara: With what money, Evelyn? Your family business is forty million dollars in the red.
Evelyn: You stole our financial files!
Clara: I didn't need to steal anything. You posted your lavish lifestyle online while your company bled cash.
Evelyn stepped forward, her face red with embarrassment and fury, but two armed guards immediately stepped between her and Clara.
Guard: Step back, ma'am.
Evelyn: How dare you bring guards into my home!
Clara: It's not your home anymore, Evelyn. The foreclosed title was recorded this morning.
Julian: Clara, please... we were married for five years. We can talk about this in private.
Clara: Where was this soft voice when your mother slapped me across the face in this very hallway?
Julian: I was confused! I was trapped between my mother and my duty!
Clara: You were a coward, Julian. You stood there and watched her bleed me dry while you counted your trust fund money.
Evelyn: Don't beg her, Julian! She's just a lucky orphan who inherited money she didn't earn!
Clara: And you are an arrogant bully who lives on borrowed time and stolen wealth.
Clara walked past them into the grand entrance, stepping over the exact spot on the marble floor where she had been thrown days earlier.
Clara: I see you fixed the glass cabinet.
Evelyn: Get out of my living room!
Clara: I'm not leaving. You have two hours to pack your clothes in trash bags and clear out.
