Julian stumbled back, holding his bright red cheek in utter disbelief.
Julian: You... you hit me! Do you know who my father was?
Arthur: A fraud who died leaving you ten million dollars in debt.
Julian tried to lung forward in anger, but Arthur caught him across the chest with a hard kick, sending Julian sliding down the marble floor toward his mother's feet.
Evelyn: Julian! Oh my god! Someone call an ambulance!
Victoria: You monster! You ruined my wedding dress with his blood!
Arthur: Your dress was paid for with my daughter's stolen inheritance, young lady.
Victoria: What are you talking about?
Arthur turned to his head attorney, who immediately opened a black leather folder and stepped forward.
Lawyer: Mrs. Evelyn Vance, three weeks ago you forged Chloe Kingsley's signature on a transfer deed for her biological trust fund.
Evelyn: That's a lie! She gave us that money willingly to pay for her stay!
Chloe: I never signed anything, Evelyn. You had your assistant copy my signature from my tax forms.
Lawyer: We have the handwriting analysis and the security footage from the bank teller's counter.
Evelyn's face turned completely pale as she leaned against a pillar for support.
Evelyn: Julian... tell them it's not true...
Julian: You told me she gave us the money! You said her family was dead!
Arthur: Her mother passed away ten years ago. I spent those ten years building an empire so no one could ever look down on her again.
Chloe: I wanted to live a normal life, Julian. I wanted to see if you loved me for who I was, not my father's money.
Julian: Chloe... please, I didn't know! I swear I didn't know!
Chloe: You watched your mother drag me down the hall. You called me a street dog.
Julian: I was confused! My mother was pressuring me!
Arthur: Save your excuses for the courtroom, boy. My team has already filed a federal lawsuit against your family business for grand larceny, fraud, and physical assault.
Victoria: Wait! What about our marriage license? Julian, tell them we're still getting married!
Lawyer: The marriage license was never processed, ma'am. Mr. Vance's bank accounts have been frozen as of twenty minutes ago.
