The Fallen Tower At The Wedding

The grand ballroom was filled with bright crystal chandeliers, soft music, and over three hundred wealthy guests. Clara stood in her white lace gown, her heart pounding with excitement as she prepared to walk down the aisle toward Daniel, the man she loved.

Clara: Daniel, this is the happiest day of my life.

Daniel: You look stunning, Clara. Everything is perfect.

Suddenly, a massive crash echoed across the ballroom as Clara stepped backward into the tall glass champagne tower. Hundreds of delicate crystal glasses shattered instantly, spilling dark golden liquid all over the polished dance floor.

Clara: Ah! Help me!

Guest 1: Oh my goodness! Look at the bride!

Guest 2: Is she hurt? The glass went everywhere!

Clara fell to her knees among the sharp, broken glass, her white silk dress soaking up the spilled liquid as tears flooded her eyes. She looked up, expecting Daniel to rush to her side and lift her up.

Daniel: Samantha! Are you okay?!

Daniel sprinted past his crying bride, stepping right over the broken glass without looking down. He threw his arms around Samantha, his former girlfriend who was standing in a green satin dress nearby with a tiny drop of champagne on her hand.

Daniel: Don't be scared, I'm here. I've got you, Sam.

Samantha: Oh Daniel, it was so loud! I was so frightened!

Daniel: Shh, it's okay. You're safe with me. I won't let anything happen to you.

Clara sat alone on the cold floor, her hands bleeding slightly from the sharp glass shards as she watched her groom embrace another woman in front of the entire crowd. The quiet murmurs of three hundred guests echoed off the walls, making her stomach turn in deep embarrassment.

Clara: Daniel... what about me?

Daniel: Be quiet for a second, Clara! Can't you see Samantha is shaken up?

The room went dead silent as Clara slowly wiped the tears from her face. Her weeping stopped instantly, and her soft green eyes narrowed into a cold, terrifying stare that shocked everyone standing near her.

Clara: The wedding is over. Freeze every asset immediately.

A mature man in a crisp grey suit stepped forward from the VIP section, pulling a phone from his jacket.

Arthur: Yes ma'am, it's done.

Daniel turned around slowly, his face shifting from gentle comfort to absolute horror as he realized what Clara had just ordered.
