Justice for the Staff

The Arrogant Heiress Slapped The Server Until She Noticed The Ring banner

An hour later, Clara walked down the grand marble staircase back into the Bellevue Hotel ballroom.

The guests had returned to their tables, enjoying the dinner service as violin music played softly from the stage.

Clara was no longer wearing the server uniform. She wore an elegant dark green velvet dress, her hair pulled back neatly, with the pink diamond ring glowing brightly on her hand.

She walked straight toward the kitchen staff who were standing near the service doors, watching her with wide eyes.

Clara: Good evening, everyone. I want to apologize for the disturbance during tonight's event.

Head Chef: Miss Montgomery... we had no idea you were working on the floor with us tonight.

Clara: I needed to see how this hotel operates from the inside. And I saw enough to know changes need to be made immediately.

Server 1: Are we... are we going to lose our jobs because of the Vance family scandal?

Clara: Absolutely not. Starting tomorrow, every single hourly worker in this hotel is receiving a twenty percent wage increase.

The servers looked at each other in disbelief, smiles breaking out across their tired faces.

Server 2: Is that... are you serious, Miss Montgomery?

Clara: I am completely serious. And we are implementing a strict zero-tolerance policy for verbal or physical abuse from guests.

Head Chef: Thank you, ma'am. You have no idea what that means to our kitchen team.

Clara: No one gets degraded in my hotel. Not by guests, not by managers, and not by billionaires.

Clara reached into her handbag and pulled out a small leather folder, handing it to the young woman who had been working alongside her earlier.

Clara: Sarah, I noticed how carefully you handled the table service tonight, even when Victoria was screaming at you.

Sarah: I was just trying to do my job, Miss Montgomery.

Clara: Inside this folder is an offer for the assistant floor manager position. It comes with a full salary, health benefits, and paid vacation time.

Sarah took the folder, tears welling up in her eyes as she looked at Clara.

Sarah: I... I don't know what to say. Thank you so much!

Clara: You earned it by staying professional when someone tried to break your dignity.

Clara turned toward the ballroom doors as her personal driver stepped forward holding her dark wool coat.

Driver: Your car is ready outside, Miss Montgomery.

Clara: Thank you, Thomas. Let's head home.

Clara adjusted the sparkling pink diamond ring on her finger one last time, taking a deep, peaceful breath of the cool night air.
