Exposing The Mansion Trap

Rich Bride Slaps Arrogant Woman Who Framed Maid At Mansion Wedding banner

Victoria: This is a setup! You all planned this to destroy my reputation!

Bride: Your reputation was destroyed the second you laid a hand on a working girl, Victoria.

Liam: Nobody set you up. You walked into this mansion with malice in your heart.

Clara: I brought you ice water when you asked, Miss Victoria. I ironed your shawl.

Victoria: Be quiet! You're a nobody!

Bride: Do not speak to her like that again!

Victoria: Or what, Sophia? What are you going to do? Cancel the wedding?

Bride: The wedding goes on. You, however, are leaving.

Victoria: I was invited by Uncle Richard! He owns half this estate!

Liam: Uncle Richard signed his deed over to me last night as a wedding gift. Check the county records if you don't believe me.

Victoria: What?! He gave you the entire estate property?!

Liam: Every single square foot. Including the land you're standing on right now.

Victoria's hands began to shake as her eyes darted toward her mother in the audience.

Aunt Eleanor: Victoria... is this true? Did you really steal the necklace?

Victoria: Mom, stay out of this!

Aunt Eleanor: Answer me! We were supposed to maintain our dignity today!

Victoria: Dignity?! We're broke, Mom! The bank sent a foreclosure notice on our penthouse this morning!

Aunt Eleanor: You promised me you had everything under control!

Victoria: I tried to create leverage! If they thought a thief was working here, the insurance company would pay out the full claim on the necklace!

Liam: Insurance fraud, too? Wow, you really outdid yourself today.

Bride: So you wanted to commit felony insurance fraud, blame an innocent young woman, get her arrested, and collect a three-hundred-thousand-dollar payout?

Victoria: It was three hundred fifty thousand! And we deserved every penny after what your family took from us!

Liam: We didn't take anything! Your father gambled away his holdings in bad investments!

Victoria: Lies! All lies!

Bride: You're confessing in front of forty guests and three security guards, Victoria.

Victoria: I don't care anymore! Look at all of you in your expensive suits and designer gowns, looking down on us!

Clara: I don't look down on anyone... I just work hard so I can pay for my mother's medical bills.

Victoria: Oh, save the sob story for someone who cares!

Bride: Clara's mother works in our charity foundation, and Clara earns every dollar she makes. You haven't worked a single day in your life, Victoria.

Victoria: I was raised to be royalty!

Liam: Royalty doesn't steal jewelry and hide it in a duffel bag like a petty crook.

Victoria: Give me that bag! That necklace belongs to the family line!

Victoria lunged forward toward the leather bag on the floor, but Liam stepped in front of her, pushing her back with one arm.

Liam: Don't even try it.

Victoria: Touch me again and I'll sue you for assault!

Bride: You're the only one who committed assault here today, sweetie. And we have it all on tape.

Victoria: I'll call my attorney right now! We'll see who goes to jail!

Liam: Go ahead. Call him. Tell him you committed grand larceny, filing a false police report, battery, and attempted wire fraud all before noon.

Victoria: You think you're so smart, don't you?

Bride: Smart enough to keep security cameras running in every public and private zone of this property.
