Outraged Father Confronts Relatives Over Abused Daughter Inside Modern Mansion banner

Evelyn: You... you installed cameras without telling me?!

David: It's my job as head of corporate infrastructure to protect the estate.

Evelyn: That is an invasion of my privacy! I live here!

David: You live here on my family's generosity. And that generosity ends today.

Richard: Evelyn, tell me the truth right now. Did you push Lily into those thorn bushes on purpose?

Evelyn: She was annoying me, Richard! She kept asking about her mother's jewelry!

David: Her mother's jewelry? You mean the diamond necklace that went missing from the master safe last month?

Evelyn: That necklace was part of the estate assets!

David: That necklace was explicitly willed to Lily for her eighteenth birthday!

Richard: Evelyn... you took Sarah's necklace?

Evelyn: I pawned it to pay off the caterers for our charity gala! You think those parties pay for themselves?!

Richard: You stole a dead woman's heirloom from a little girl?!

Evelyn: Don't take that tone with me, Richard! I did it for us!

David: She did it for herself, Dad. Just like she does everything.

David pulled his phone out of his coat pocket, keeping one arm securely wrapped around Lily.

David: I'm sending the patio security footage to Chief Miller at the central precinct right now.

Evelyn: David, don't you dare press send!

David: It's already sent. The video file is uploading to the police cloud server as we speak.

Evelyn: You ruined my life! You pathetic little bastard!

Evelyn lunged forward, her long fake nails reaching toward David's face.

Before she could reach him, Richard stepped between them and shoved Evelyn back against the dining table.

Richard: Touch my son or my granddaughter again, and I swear to God, Evelyn, you won't walk out of this house!

Evelyn: You shoved me?! You're taking his side over your wife?!

Richard: You are not my wife anymore. As far as I'm concerned, this marriage is over!

Evelyn: You can't divorce me! I hold the primary trustee rights!

David: A trustee agreement signed under fraudulent pretenses is legally void, Evelyn. My lawyers will have an emergency injunction filed by noon.

Distant police sirens began to echo through the quiet suburban neighborhood, growing louder with every passing second.

Evelyn: Sirens? Did you call the police before you even walked into this house?!

David: I called them the second I picked my crying daughter up off the dirt outside.

Evelyn: Richard, do something! Tell them it was an accident!

Richard: I'm not lying for you anymore, Evelyn. I'm going to tell them everything I know.

Evelyn backed away toward the kitchen door, her eyes wild with panic as she looked for an escape route.

David: Don't bother running, Evelyn. The front gates are locked automatically when security alerts are triggered.
