Julian: Let him try. He doesn't know about the side contracts your family forged last spring.
Victoria: What side contracts?
Julian: Elena wasn't just working as a maid here, Victoria. Show her.
Elena pulled a clean manila envelope from her uniform dress side pocket and held it up.
Victoria: What is that?
Elena: I'm a certified legal paralegal hired by Mr. Vance's private audit firm three months ago.
Victoria: What?! You... you were spying on me?
Elena: We noticed irregularities in the estate expenses back in April. Three hundred thousand dollars transferred directly to offshore accounts under your maiden name.
Victoria: That was my personal allowance!
Elena: The funds came directly from Mrs. Nora Vance's healthcare trust account, not your allowance.
Nora: I kept asking why my heart medicine wasn't arriving from the pharmacy... you kept changing the orders...
Victoria: You old bat, be quiet!
Julian: Don't speak to her like that!
Julian stepped between Victoria and his mother, his tall frame completely blocking Victoria's view.
Julian: You were draining my mother's medical care money to fund your secret gambling debts in Vegas, weren't you?
Victoria: Who told you that?
Julian: Your private bank statements arrived at my office this morning. That's why I came home early today.

Victoria: It wasn't poison! It was just meant to keep her asleep while I transferred the rest of the land titles!
