Julian: This is a complete joke. She can't legally freeze our corporate accounts without a court order.
Scarlett: Look at the stamp on the bottom of the page, Julian. That's a federal judge's signature.
Julian: A signature can be forged or rushed through by a corrupt divorce lawyer.
Scarlett: Nobody corrupts a federal judge in broad daylight. What did you do to provoke her?
Julian: I didn't do anything! I just asked her to hand over the trust fund documents for the company merger.
Scarlett: You asked her by grabbing her arm in the middle of the entryway?
Julian: She was walking out the door with my son! I had every right to detain her.
Scarlett: Detain your wife? This isn't a corporate boardroom, Julian. That's a domestic kidnapping charge waiting to happen.
Julian paced across the marble floor, his designer shoes clicking against the stone with restless energy.
Julian: My life's work is tied up in those accounts. If she freezes the trust fund, our investors will pull out by Monday morning.
Scarlett: Then maybe you shouldn't have transferred those funds into your offshore shell company last week.
Julian: How do you even know about the offshore transfer? Did Claire tell you?
Scarlett: Claire didn't have to tell me anything. It's printed right here on page four of the financial audit.
Julian snatched the paper from Scarlett's hands, his eyes darting frantically across the detailed transaction lines.
Julian: This audit was supposed to be encrypted! How did she get the server passwords?
Scarlett: Remember when you left your laptop open on the kitchen island during our anniversary dinner?
Julian: You think Claire guessed my password while we were eating dessert?
Scarlett: Claire doesn't need to guess passwords when she has full administrative rights as the primary shareholder.
Julian: I am the CEO of this empire! My name is on every single building in this zip code!
Scarlett: Your name might be on the glass, but her family's trust fund paid for the foundation.
Julian clenched his fists, his face turning pale as the reality of his financial ruin began to sink in.
Julian: I built this company from the ground up with my own bare hands.
Scarlett: You built it on a massive loan from your father-in-law, and now the bill has finally come due.
Julian: I will call my legal team right now and get an emergency injunction filed against her.
Scarlett: Your legal team was sitting in the lobby when the federal marshals arrived twenty minutes ago.
Julian stopped dead in his tracks, staring at Scarlett with a look of absolute terror.
Julian: The marshals picked up my attorneys? On what grounds?
Scarlett: Conspiracy to commit wire fraud and hiding assets from a federal bankruptcy court.
Julian: This is a coordinated attack. She planned every single second of this exit.
Scarlett: And you walked right into her trap like an amateur playing chess against a grandmaster.
Julian threw the yellow envelope onto the marble floor, scattering the legal pages across the white surface.
Julian: I am not going to sit here and let a bitter ex-wife strip me of everything I own.
Scarlett: What else is left for you to lose, Julian? Your car? Your penthouse? Your freedom?
Julian: I still have my shares in the overseas subsidiaries. She can't touch those without my personal signature.
Scarlett: Those subsidiaries were dissolved by the board of directors an hour ago.
Julian grabbed his head in both hands, letting out a frustrated groan that echoed through the empty hallway.
Julian: The board would never vote against me without my direct consent!
Scarlett: They voted unanimously once the police showed up with the money laundering indictments.
Julian fell back against the velvet sofa, staring up at the ceiling as his grandiose world crumbled around him.
