Julian carefully picked Maya up into his arms, carrying her over the shattered porcelain pieces scattered across the marble floor.
Maya: Julian, put me down! You shouldn't be carrying me like this!
Julian: I am carrying my wife and my child to my car. You are going to the hospital to get that forehead checked by a doctor right now.

Julian: I am going to introduce you as the main shareholder of Vance Global Enterprises.
Maya looked up at him in surprise, her blue eyes wide with wonder.
Maya: Main shareholder?
Julian: Yesterday afternoon, I transferred fifty-one percent of my voting stock into your personal living trust.
Maya: Julian... that's worth hundreds of millions of dollars!
Julian: It belongs to you and our child. If Victoria or her father ever attempt to insult you again, you will have the power to fire them from the board on the spot.
Maya: I don't want revenge, Julian. I just want peace.
Julian: You will have peace, my love. But peace requires strength. And tomorrow, everyone in high society will know who you are.
